Evan Rachel Wood

Evan Rachel Wood was born in Raleigh, North Carolina, on September 7, 1987. Her father Ira David Wood III is a stage writer and actor, and her mother Sara Wood is an actress and acting coach. Her brothers older than her are Dana Wood, a musician and Ira David Wood IV who also have been actors. Evan and her brothers frequently were seen performing in the Theatre In The Park in Raleigh. Her father was the founder of it and is its director-executive. At the age of five, she was screen-tested against Kirsten Dunst for the lead role in Interview with the Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles (1994) following a lengthy audition process. In the year 1996, she relocated to Los Angeles along with her brother Ira and mom. She has been a star in television shows, feature films, and TV films since. She was a star in Practical Magic (1998), as the daughter of Al Pacino. The comedy S1m0ne(2002) followed by Thirteen (2003) with Holly Hunter.
