Big Time Rush
Big Time Rush The Big Time Rush, an
American pop group was formed in the year 2009. The group is composed of
Kendall Schmidt, James Maslow, Logan Henderson, and Carlos PenaVega. They
signed initially with Nick Records in 2009. Then, Columbia Records transferred
them to their new label. The group was on Nickelodeon's TV show Big Time Rush.
The show aired from November 28th in 2009 until July 25, 2013. The pilot
episode featured the group's first single promo, "Big Time Rush". The
group released three studio albums, BTR in 2010, Elevate 2011 , and 24/Seven in
2013. The group took an indefinite hiatus in 2014 that was extended until 2021.
the group resumed live performances and released the single "Call It Like
I See It". Nickelodeon has signed Big Time Rush to an album deal in 2009,
alongside its TV series, Big Time Rush. In the following year, Nickelodeon
partnered with Columbia/Epic Label Group to create the show, and also to add
original music that was used in the show. The series' first single, "Big Time
Rush", was released on November 29th the 29th of November, 2009.
Officially announced by Nickelodeon in November 2009, the series was aired for
the first time in the Americas. It then debuted internationally. It was
featured in a pre-show for one hour , and is the show's first tune. The series
also saw the release of promotional singles, including "City is Ours"
and "Any Kind of Guy". Big Time Rush also covered a Play song called
"Famous". The track was released to iTunes on June 29th, 2010.
Following the premiere of the series the second song, "Halfway
There", went live on iTunes on April 27, 2010. The song quickly became the
first track to be charted on the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at number 93 due to
digital sales. In order to promote their debut album, Big Time Rush released
"Till I Forget about You" on September 21st, 2010. The album, which
is titled BTR It was released on October 11, 2010. The album was released at
number three on the Billboard 200. It sold an initial 67,000 copies.
