Britney Jean Spears

Britney Jean Spears was born the 2nd of December, 1981 in McComb, Mississippi & raised in Kentwood, Louisiana. When she was a kid, Britney attended dance classes and was a pro at gymnastics. She was a winner of many contests and similar. Britney is a singer however, most important, she was a fan of dance classes. Britney was just 8 years old when the time came for her to be a part of The All New Mickey Mouse Club (1989) However, her young age led to her being denied. She was then directed to "Ruthless", an off-Broadway production, where she starred as the title persona for two years. At the age of 11, she auditioned to be a part of The All New Mickey Mouse Club (1989). This time, she was a mouseketeer along with many other popular stars from today, Justin Timberlake and JC Chasez (*NSYNC) and Ryan Gosling. Her breakthrough however, came after she was signed as Jive Recording Artist in the late 1990s. Britney was an enormous hit following her first album, "Baby one more time." "...Baby another time" in 1999. The album also sold over 13 million copies (as as of July 2001) of her follow-up album "Oops !...I did it Again" which was released in May 2000. Britney was the daughter of Lynne Spears and Jamie Spears. She has an older brother Bryan Spears and a little sister Jamie Lynn Spears. From the time she was a kid, Britney was always fixing to become a famous singer with her idols including Madonna, Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston, the young Britney was always singing no matter what was happening in the world around her. Britney was a candidate for The All New Mickey Mouse Club (1989-1994) on the television at age 8. However, she was too young to play the role. Britney and her infant sister, Britney relocated to New York, where she performed in a number of TV commercials and in an off Broadway play called "Ruthless" which was directed by the guidance of Natalie Portman. The passion for music and dance took over and, 2 years after, she auditioned for a part on "Mickey Mouse" again, and this time, was selected for the part along with Christina Aguilera and Justin Timberlake.
