Bruce Willis

Bruce Willis, actor and musician, is famous for his witty and sharp-edged role in action films. He has appeared in more than $2.5 billion in films. Walter Bruce Willis was born March 19, 1955 in Idar-Oberstein (West Germany) to Marlene Kassel and David Andrew Willis (from Carneys Point New Jersey), both of whom lived on the United States military base. His family moved to America soon after the birth of his son. He grew up in Penns Grove (New Jersey) where his mother worked as an employee at a bank, while his father worked as an electrician and in the factory. Willis picked up an interest in drama during high school. He was "discovered" when he was working at a café in New York City and then participated in a couple of off-Broadway productions.
